The Commencement Team is excited to invite the 2019 valedictorians and salutatorians to the CCC Production Studio for a photo shoot and video interview, followed by a luncheon at Sikia on April 5 for a day that will make you feel like a VIP!
Please RSVP for VIP Day by Friday, March 22. Below are important details and information to help you prepare for this special day.
Studio Shoot
Valedictorians and salutatorians will be treated to a photo shoot with a professional photographer, as well as a video interview with the CCC Production Team.
Your photos will be promoted on social media, the CCC website, and across your respective college’s digital screens. Participating students will receive keepsake pictures 3–4 weeks after Commencement.
Video interviews of graduates will be used to create a video that introduces the 2019 valedictorians and salutatorians on social media and the CCC website. A video that collectively highlights the 2019 valedictorians will also be produced and shown during both commencement ceremonies on May 4.
When & Where
Please arrive at the CCC Production Studio on April 5 by 8:45AM. The shoot will take place from 9:00AM to 12:00PM at Kennedy-King College. A light continental breakfast will be provided.
If you are driving to Kennedy-King, there is free street parking along Union Avenue and a student parking lot on the west side of Halsted. For anyone taking public transit, the Halsted green line stop is directly next to campus.
The CCC Production Studio is in the U-Building, which is located on the northeast corner of 63rd and Halsted. You must enter through the front door of the building on 63rd Street. Ask Security where the CCC Production Studio is and they will direct you accordingly. The entrance to the studio will be marked.
