Dear City Colleges faculty,
We hope your Spring semester is off to a great start. Later this term, on May 1, 2022, City Colleges will return to the Wintrust Arena to celebrate the hard work and determination of our students at the 2022 Commencement Ceremony for Associate Degree Earners. Degree completers from 2020 and 2021 have also been invited to participate, as their ceremonies were held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we look forward to returning to an in-person graduation, we are once again requesting the support of faculty and staff to ensure this year’s event is a safe and successful celebration.
Please complete the form linked here to tell us how you will be participating in this year’s graduation—either by marching in the ceremony or by volunteering at the Wintrust Arena.
As a reminder, full-time faculty are required to participate. If you will be on an approved leave/sabbatical, will be using a personal day, or will have an instructional obligation that conflicts with the ceremony, you will be able to opt out accordingly, and your VP will be notified.
The deadline to confirm you will take part is February 28, 2022.
