Dear City Colleges graduates and employees,

City Colleges’ 2022 Commencement Ceremony is less than a month away! To help you prepare for the big day, we want to share additional details about the format of the ceremonies on May 1st.

Two ceremonies will be held to celebrate City Colleges graduates at the Wintrust Arena (200 E. Cermak) on Sunday, May 1st:

1:00 p.m.: Afternoon Ceremony 6:30 p.m.: Evening Ceremony

  • Olive-Harvey College
  • Wilbur Wright College
  • Harold Washington College
  • Kennedy-King College
  • Richard J. Daley College
Doors open to guests: 11:30 a.m.

Each ceremony is expected to last approximately two to 2.5 hours. Doors will open to participants and guests 1.5 hours before the ceremony begins. Graduates must arrive no later than 30 minutes before their ceremony—early arrival is encouraged.

Each graduate will be given eight tickets, in addition to their own, to share with their guests. Graduates will pick up the tickets during the week of April 25th—at the same time they pick up their graduation packet at their college.
