Subject: Check out your GradFest schedule!
Dear student,
Graduation day is just around the corner, and we’re ready to celebrate your time at City Colleges.
During the week of May 1st, join us for GradFest at your college. GradFest is where you will:
- Pick up your cap, gown, and tickets (if you are participating in the in-person commencement ceremony),
- Get your graduation photos taken by a professional, and
- Take part in other exiting events on campus.

Graduates participating in the in-person ceremony will each receive eight (8) tickets for their guests and one ticket for themselves. If you are unable to pick up your cap, gown, and tickets during the designated windows, you must contact your college’s registrar to make an alternative plan.
As a reminder, City Colleges will host two ceremonies at Wintrust Arena on May 6. The morning ceremony—celebrating graduates from Harold Washington College, Truman College, Olive-Harvey College, and Daley College—begins at 10:00 a.m. Graduates should arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. The afternoon ceremony—celebrating graduates from Kennedy-King College, Malcolm X College, and Wright College—begins at 3:30 p.m. Graduates should arrive no later than 3:00 p.m.
