2026 GradFest Schedule

All GradFest events will be held at the college unless otherwise noted. Please see below for exact timing and locations.

April 27 – May 1, 2026

All students participating in the in-person ceremony must pick up their cap, gown, tassel, and tickets during GradFest.

Graduation Packet Distribution

Graduates participating in the Commencement ceremony will have the opportunity to pick up their graduation packets, which include the cap, gown, and tickets. Additionally, eligible students will receive:

  • Honors Cords
  • Veteran Cords
  • SGA Cords
  • PTK Stoles

Staff will be available to assist with any questions regarding the ceremony. Photo ID is required for pickup.

Multicultural and Affinity Pinning Celebration 

The Multicultural and Affinity Pinning Celebration offers graduates a special opportunity to honor the cultural intersections in their lives and recognize the communities they belong to.

Open to the entire Wright College community, this event allows students to celebrate their identities and connections as they mark this important milestone. Affinity groups across campus have provided support and belonging throughout their journey, and this ceremony serves as a meaningful way to celebrate graduation alongside their personal communities. Refreshments will be provided. RSVP is required.

Black Student Completers Celebration

Join us for a pre-Commencement celebration honoring Black students who have completed their studies at Wilbur Wright College.

This ceremony celebrates Black culture, heritage, and the enduring values of community and scholarship. While it pays homage to African traditions, the celebration acknowledges and embraces the rich diversity within Black identity.

Dinner will be provided. Invitation only.

Farewell to Our Grads Summer Bash

The entire Wright College community is invited to join us for a tropical celebration honoring the success of our Class of 2026 graduates!

Come enjoy an afternoon filled with lively music, fun activities, and delicious food as we send off our grads in true island style. Let’s make it a celebration to remember. Lunch will be provided.

GradImages: Graduate Portraits

GradImages, a professional photography company, will provide graduates with the opportunity to take official graduation portraits in cap and gown. Photos will be available for purchase after the Commencement ceremony.

2026 Graduate Academic Awards Ceremony 

Join us as we celebrate the academic achievements of our Class of 2026 graduates. Breakfast will be served. Invitation only. RSVP is required.

First-Year Students Completion Celebration

This drop-in event honors first-year students who have completed 15–30 credit hours with a special recognition pin to celebrate their achievements.

All first-year students are welcome to stop by for photos, activities, and fun. Lunch will be provided.

Decision Day 

Join us in celebrating the decisions made by our Wright College Class of 2026 Grads!  
Whether they’ve chosen to attend a college or university, or landed a job in their chosen career field, we’re proud of their achievements.  

There will be opportunities for photos, and lunch will be provided. 

Still undecided? No worries! Stop by and meet with our Advising and Transfer Center or the Career Planning and Placement Center to explore your options. Transfer college representatives will also be available to answer any questions you may have. Lunch will be provided. RSVP is required.

Student Life Banquet 

Join us as we celebrate the achievements of our student clubs, organizations, LeadWright Completers and SGA officers. This special event honors students who have made a significant impact on our campus community.  

Graduating officers will also be pinned during the event.  

Come enjoy an afternoon of celebration, recognition, and community as we acknowledge the dedication and efforts of our outstanding students. Refreshments will be provided. Invitation only.
