Subject: Get Ready for Graduation Order your cap and gown today.
Hi (NAME),
Congratulations! You are conditionally approved to graduate from %%College%% College. That means, as long as you stay enrolled in your current classes and pass them at the end of the semester, you will earn your associate degree this spring.
As a soon-to-be associate degree earner, we’re excited to invite you to City Colleges’ 2026 Commencement Ceremony on May 2 at the Wintrust Arena. To participate in the in-person ceremony, you must remain conditionally approved to graduate through March 6, 2026. If your graduation status changes before then, you will no longer be eligible to participate.
In the meantime, we’ve started a checklist to help you prepare for commencement. First up: ordering your graduation attire. To participate in the in-person ceremony, you must order a cap, gown, and tassel from Jostens by Sunday, March 22.
Please note that your graduation attire must match the college you are graduating from, which is %%College%% College. Click on the button below to start your order, and double check that you are in your college’s unique ordering page before checking out. You must include your name on your order so we can ensure you are eligible to participate in the in-person ceremony. If someone else is ordering for you, make sure they include your name.
Remember, you only need to purchase a cap, gown, and tassel to participate in the in-person ceremony. Any other attire/extras are optional, and all purchases are non-refundable.
Then, once you’re done, share your grad story for the chance to be featured in our graduation video, on social media, and more.
To stay up to date as additional information about commencement is released, please continue to check your email and visit www.ccc.edu/graduation. You can also email commencement@ccc.edu if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
City Colleges of Chicago
